The inaugural UG Hip-hop awards took place on Thursday (December 15) at Gold Course Hotel in Kampala.
The Awards, which are aimed at honoring the acts, individuals and brands, who contribute to the enrichment of the genre through the different elements of hip-hop, in October this year released the list of nominees after various stakeholders had submitted their work. Ever since the list of nominees was released, the nominated individuals have been calling upon their fans via Social Media to vote for them.
The winners in various categories were announced and handed their accolades at the awards ceremony on Thursday evening.
